Appropriate for all skin types with mild to moderate skin imperfections. • The Rejuvenaize Peel is a stronger chemical peel that treats moderate to severe skin. Noticeable results after just one peel, compelling results after three to six peels. Treats imperfections, smooths the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and roughness. What to Expect… Peels are applied in the office and take approximately 20-30 minutes. Within 48 hours after application of the Vitalize or Rejuvenize Peel, the skin will begin to peel. Peeling may last 2 to 6 days. Patients are required to follow an athome regimen for 57 days in order to maximize the benefits of the peel. Follow up appointments are necessary to assess progress and a hydrating masque is recommended one week post peel. For optimal results 3 to 6 peels are recommended. Tolerance to the procedure varies from patient to patient. Tingling or burning sensations are normal and expected reactions. *Individual results will vary. Some patients may not undergo peeling, however the complete benefits of the Skinmedica peels are being received.
