Dr. James Bartels is Board Certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, and he is a longstanding member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Bartels has been recognized as a Top Doctor in his region annually from 2006 to the present by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd. In addition, he was consistently rated as the Top Doctor in his specialty in a peer survey conducted every year by NH Magazine from 2000 through his retirement from Otolaryngology in 2019.

With over 35 years of experience as an Otolaryngologist and Facial Plastic surgeon, Dr. Bartels performed thousands of surgical procedures, including rhinoplasty (cosmetic nasal surgery), otoplasty (ear reshaping), facial trauma surgery, and reconstructive procedures of the head and neck.
